Preventive maintenance
When do I need it?
Preventative maintenance is recommended at least once a year, as the processor's thermal paste loses efficiency over time, drying out and hindering heat dissipation. In coastal cities, oxidation and rusting occur more quickly due to sea air. In environments with a lot of dust, sand, or dirt, internal buildup can compromise the equipment's proper functioning.
How does it work?
The computer is completely disassembled for internal and external cleaning, including the case and all components. The thermal paste is also replaced, ensuring better processor cooling.
Results
After preventive maintenance, the machine tends to heat up less, which improves processor performance, as it doesn't suffer performance drops due to overheating. Furthermore, regular maintenance helps prevent serious failures, such as logic board (motherboard) burnout, reducing the need for more expensive corrective maintenance.
